So this is a site I created in Retro Builder Ultra. I'll admit it's not perfect and it certainly is filled with a shit ton of bugs that I need to stamp out before I continue adding features again. A lot of those bugs have to do with HTML, Iframes, and atmospheric elements. It's always interesting when you make something, think it's good, and then figure out after extended use that it has problems. This is common and considering this is in early access (in development) it's going to have a shit ton of problems.
The problems I plan to fix are as follows:
1. Fix HTML and HTML blocks so they can no longer take over a whole sites background or morph retro builder UI
2. Fix an issue with the flash light that causes it to stop following the mouse curser when in Iframes.
3. Fix the spell check function which became broken several updates ago. it was never on the priority list but it does need to be fixed and I intend to do this soon.
As of now these are the two bugs I plan to address and fix. I'm sure I'll run into plenty more with more testing, but until then I'll ask that you guys bare with me as I'm working a regular 9-5 so updates can come really fast or really slow. It's just based on when I get time to fix them.
08/27/26: MY FIRST BLOG POST
So I'm going to admit that what's about to happen is going to really suck. So I've been working on Retro Builder for a while now. Just to let you guys know I've been working on it since last year and it's gotten to this point. I'm not going to hide the fact that it's a vibe coded program and I'm not going to pretend that people will welcome it with open arms. I started this thing because I just wanted something that could bring me back and as time went on I just kept building and building and building. It got to the point I actually felt like it was amounting to something. It had started out as a what I could only call a pre-prototype back when I had it started back in November of last year, to something that's substantial this year. As I stated it still has bugs and yes I do intend to fix them. I had already mentioned that the flashlight will stop following the mouse curser when it enters an iframe, and the spell check function had become broken a few updates back. The HTML block and just HTML in general is something I plan to fix and I'm going to get right on it when I get the chance. Lastly and this is a bug you guys have likely seen on this page already is the before and after block will only allow one to function. I need to make is so all before and after blocks function regardless of how many are on a website.
Secondly I do have a regular 9-5 as a test center proctor and that means work requires me to be attentive to students and high stakes testers at all times. It's an okay job...just boring. Anyway, I hope I can keep this site going for a very long time. Even if no one buys Retro Builder, I do intend to use this program. it's allowed me to do something constructive again and that's running and taking care of a (static) website. No it's not flashy like the rest of them on NeoCities but I want this site to be a place I can just dump out how I feel and showcase NSFW artwork from people all over the web. I do have some users in my webring (found in BIG BOOTY OVERWATCH) and I'll have the random one updated every few days or so. Hope you guys enjoy the website and I wish everyone good luck on their own sites.
